§ SIR JOHN PAKINGTONsaid, he wished to know whether it was the intention of the Government to bring in any Bill to amend the law with respect to Vaccination this Session?
MR. COWPERsaid, the President of the Board of Health had prepared a Bill on the subject, but delayed presenting it until the Bill now before the House respecting the transfer of the powers of that Board should pass. It would then be brought in if the period of the Session would allow of that course.
§ SIR JOHN PAKINGTONsaid that an important paper on the subject had lately been printed, and was lying in the Vote Office. Had the Government any objection to distribute that paper to Members.
MR. COWPERsaid, he believed that the paper in question was one of great interest and of remarkable research; but according to the rules of the House it was not circulated to Members, but was only given to those who applied for it at the Vote Office.
