MR. HANKEY

said, he wished to ask the right hon. the Chief Commissioner of Works whether any decision has yet been made as to the spot where the statue of Richard Cœur de Lion, by Baron Marochetti, purchased by subscription, and presented to the nation in 1856, is to be erected.

SIR BENJAMIN HALL

said, no decision had yet been arrived at, as to the exact spot where the statue should be placed; but Carlton Gardens had been suggested.
