HC Deb 20 February 1857 vol 144 c932
MR. T. DUNCOMBE

said, he would beg to ask the right hon. Gentleman the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster, whether any measure would be introduced during the present Session to carry out the recommendations of the Charity Commission with respect to Dulwich College; and, if so, whether legislation would originate in the House of Lords or Commons?

MR. BAINES

said, that it was the intention of the Government to bring forward a Bill for the purpose of carrying into effect the recommendation of the Charity Commissioners in regard to Dulwich College. That Bill would, most probably, originate in the House of Lords, and would be introduced there before Easter.
