§ SIR DENHAM NORREYSsaid, he would beg to ask the First Lord of the Treasury whether he proposes to recommend to the House the adoption of all or any of the recommendations of the Committee on proceedings in Committee of Supply?
§ VISCOUNT PALMERSTONsaid, that it was impossible to come to any decision in regard to those recommendations at that late period of the Session, but they would be taken into consideration between the present time and the reassembling of Parliament. Whatever might be the decision of the Government on the subject, the Estimates would, of course, be framed in such a manner as to prevent the inconvenience which took place in the last year.
