§ MR. W. WILLIAMSsaid, he wished to know when the works at Westminster Bridge would be proceeded with, and also when it was expected the bridge would be completed. His constituents were anxious 551 about the matter, and wished no time to be lost.
§ SIR BENJAMIN HALLsaid, he could only repeat the answer that he recently gave, that the whole subject of the New Westminster Bridge works was under the consideration of Mr. Rendel and Mr. Simpson, the eminent engineers; and their report would probably he ready in about ten days, when he would state to the House what course would be adopted with respect to the new bridge.
