§ MR. THOMPSONsaid, he would beg to ask the right hon. and learned Lord Advocate whether he was prepared to bring in a Bill for the union of the Aberdeen Universities?
§ THE LORD ADVOCATEsaid, he was anxious to aid in the union of these two Universities. It appeared that the time had come when that union might be effected by a legislative measure, and he had a Bill in preparation. If the business of the Session permitted, he should be glad to lay the Bill on the table, and to carry it if possible.
