THE CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUERsaid, he begged to move for leave to bring in a Bill to abolish the office of Cursitor Baron of the Exchequer, vacant by the decease of the right hon. George Bankes. The duties of the office were of a merely formal nature, and a small salary was attached to their performance.
