§ MR. KINNAIRDasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether it was the intention of the Government to grant a new Charter of Incorporation to the Royal College of Physicians of London?
§ SIR G. GREYsaid, for some years past communications had taken place on the subject, and the details of a new charter had from time to time been under consideration, but postponed in consequence of the different proposals made to Parliament touching the medical profession. However, as a new charter could not be granted without an Act of Parliament, there was no present intention of granting one.
