§ Order again read for going into Committee of Supply.
§ MR. ADDERLEYstated, that he found he could not, in accordance with the forms of the House, bring forward the Motion of which he had given notice, on the subject of the expenditure upon the Kaffir War; but he proposed, with the consent of the House, to make a brief statement upon the subject either then or in Committee of Supply.
§ LORD JOHN RUSSELLsaid, that he must request the hon. Gentleman to take the regular course by allowing the House to go into a Committee of Supply, and he had no doubt that the Committee would then allow him to make his statement.
