§ MR. GRANTLEY BERKELEYwished to ask the noble Lord at the head of the Woods and Forests if it was the intention of the Government to bring in a Bill for the inclosure of the New Forest? If so, what were the intentions of the Government with respect to the destruction of the deer; whether they were prepared to take into consideration all claims of common rights; and whether they intended to retain a certain number of acres, and, if so, to what extent?
LORD SEYMOURsaid, it was his intention to bring in three Bills respecting three different forests, and he thought it would be more convenient to reserve all details till he laid the Bills on the table of the House.
