§ COLONEL SIBTHORPbegged to ask the hon. and learned Gentleman the Attorney General whether it was true that he had refused his sanction to an application to the Court of Chancery for an injunction to stay the holding of the Exhibition of 1851 in Hyde Park. If the report abroad to this effect was true, he should certainly bring the subject under the notice of the House.
The ATTORNEY GENERAL, in reply, said it was quite true he had refused his sanction to a proposed application for an injunction; but he would reserve his 223 reasons for the course he had taken until after the hon. and gallant Member had made his statement to the House.
§ COLONEL SIBTHORPThen I shall call the attention of the House to the subject To-morrow.
