§ SIR G. GREYhad stated at the close of last Session that considerable difficulties beset the whole question with regard to the rating of stock-in-trade. He could not say that those difficulties were diminished, and though the question was an important one, he could not, in the meantime, hold out any hope that a measure would be introduced on the subject.
