inquired whether the Foreign Secretary was in possession of a document of considerable importance, bearing upon a subject to be soon submitted to the House—the Navigation Laws—namely, the report of a Committee of the Senate of Hamburgh on the subject of the Navigation League proposed by Prussia to the State of Hamburgh; and, if so, whether he would lay it on the table?

answered, that Her Majesty's Government were in possession of an English translation of that document, and there could be no possible objection to lay it before the House.
