Mr. Speaker

stated, that the Sergeant-at-Arms had a communication to make to the House.

The Sergeant-at-Arms, having been called upon, said—"I have to acquaint the House, that in the case of Howard v. Gossett, in which judgment has been pronounced against me, an execution was on Saturday, the 7th inst., levied, including costs, for the sum of 436l. 12s."

On the Motion of Sir R. Peel, the communication was referred to the Select Committee.

House adjourned at ten minutes to One o'clock.
