HC Deb 21 February 1843 vol 66 c1140
Lord Eliot

then moved for leave to bring in a bill to amend the laws relating to pawn-broking in Ireland. The noble Lord stated that the bill was partly founded upon the report of a committee of the House, which had sat in 1838 upon the subject.

Mr. Wallace

wished that some measure could be introduced with reference to the subject, applying to the United Kingdom generally.

Leave given.

House adjourned at three quarters past twelve o'clock.
