§ Lord Eliotthen moved for leave to bring in a bill to amend the laws relating to pawn-broking in Ireland. The noble Lord stated that the bill was partly founded upon the report of a committee of the House, which had sat in 1838 upon the subject.
§ Mr. Wallacewished that some measure could be introduced with reference to the subject, applying to the United Kingdom generally.
