§ Upon the motion for reading the order of the day for the second reading of the admiralty lands bill,
§ Mr. Gillbegged that this bill, which had been of the Table a very short time, should be postponed. He had some objections to the compulsory clauses of the bill.
§ Mr. S. Herbertbegged that the second reading might be now take pro forma, and any discussion which might arise might be taken on going into committee. He would fix a late day for the committee.
