HC Deb 04 May 1842 vol 63 c94
Mr. Pakington

reported from the select committee appointed to try and determine the merits of the petition complaining of an undue return for the borough of Thetford, that they had determined, that the Earl of Euston was not duly elected, and ought not to have been returned to serve in Parliament as a burgess for the said borough, and that Sir James Flower was duly elected.
