HC Deb 16 February 1842 vol 60 c531
An hon. Member

wished to ask the hon. and gallant Secretary to the Board of Ordnance, whether he intended, during the present Session, to bring forward his motion for the abolition of flogging in the army.

Captain Boldero

stated, that for the last two or three Sessions he had not brought forward any motion on the subject. If the hon. Gentleman chose to make a motion on the subject, the hon. Member would find that his opinion remained unchanged; and he should vote as he had always hitherto voted.
