HC Deb 10 August 1842 vol 65 c1229
Mr. Hawes

said, that he had, last night, moved the adjournment of the House, and his object in making the proposition was to defeat the Limitation of Actions (Ireland) Bill. He wished to know whether it were the intention of the noble Lord, the Secretary for Ireland, to proceed with that measure?

Lord Eliot

feared it would be out of his power to proceed with the bill at this late period.
