§ On the Order of the Day for the second reading of the Public Houses Bill,
§ Sir James Grahamsaid, that he had to request the hon. and gallant Member for Westminster, to postpone the further progress of this bill for a few days, and, in doing so, he could assure the gallant Officer that he believed that by a postponement, Such an arrangement might be made as would be satisfactory to all parties.
§ Captain Rousobserved, that under the circumstances he would willingly postpone the bill; but he would then give notice that he should bring it forward that day fortnight.
