Mr. Milesrose 83 to move for leave to bring in a Bill to give summary power to justices of the peace, in special sessions assembled, in certain cases of loss of service, or breach of promise of marriage, to impose and enforce penalties against Putative Fathers. The principle of the bill was the same as that of the measure which he had brought in last Session; but some portion of its phraseology was altered in obedience to the wish of the House.
