HC Deb 21 July 1838 vol 44 cc481-2

On the motion of Mr. Fox Maule, the Prisons Bill was read a third time.

Mr. Langdale

rose to propose the clause of which he had given notice, relative to Catholic chaplains.

Mr. Pakington

moved an adjournment of the debate, in consequence of many Members having gone away under the impression, that the clause would not now be brought forward.

Debate adjourned.
