On the motion that the report on the tithe resolution be taken into consideration,

Mr. Sharman Crawford

intimated his intention to move that the consideration of the report be postponed till the 10th of June.

Lord John Russell

trusted, that the House would, not sanction such a course. If the hon. Gentleman, desired it, he had no doubt that his noble Friend would consent to postpone the second reading of the Bill till the 9th of June.

Mr. Sharman Crawford

would oppose proceeding with the report that evening.

moved, that the House do adjourn.
