Mr. Sheil

gave notice, that on the first day, on going into Committee of Supply, he would, move a resolution to this effect,—that no person who should hereafter be appointed to, and enter upon, an Ecclesiastical benefice in Ireland, shall be deemed to have a vested interest in it, entitling him to compensation in the event of its being suppressed.

Sir R. Inglis

would also beg to give notice, that on the hon. member's making that motion, he (Sir R. Inglis) would move that the oath which the hon. Member had taken should be read.
