wished to know from the noble Viscount (the Secretary for Foreign Affairs), whether the opinion of the Law Officers of the Crown had been taken, as to whether the murderer of Mr. Boyd was not amenable to the laws of this country?

Viscount Palmerston

replied, that he had received the opinion of the Law Officers of the Crown, which stated, that General Moreno was not amenable to any tribunal in this country.
