§ Mr. Ruthventook that last opportunity again to enter his protest against a mea- 1157 sure fraught, in his opinion, with so much calamity to Ireland.
§ Bill read a third time.
Mr. Stanleymoved a Clause, by way of rider to the Bill, to the effect that the average of the last three years should be taken as the basis on which to fix the composition.
§ The Clause was agreed to, as was also a Clause moved by Lord John Russell, that the Bill might be altered or amended during the present Session.
§ Bill passed.
