§ Mr. G. Dawsoninquired if the Government meant to bring forward this Session a measure for regulating Grand Jury Assessments in Ireland?
Mr. Stanleyreplied, that it was his intention to lay on the Table a Bill to amend these laws. The Bill was prepared, but as his only motive in introducing it was, that it might be printed and circulated in Ireland, and he had no chance of passing it this Session, he had preferred, in the first instance, bringing forward such measures as he thought might, perhaps, receive the sanction of the Legislature.
