§ Lord Althorpsaid, that before the Recess he had promised to give every assistance in his power to the amendment of the Game Laws; and he was now ready to redeem that pledge. A noble Marquis (Chandos) had already undertaken to effect some amelioration of those laws; but the views of that noble Lord differed so very much from his views on the subject, that he felt it necessary to propose bringing in a new bill himself. The noble Lord then gave notice, that he should, on Tuesday next, move for leave to bring in a bill for the Amendment of the Game Laws.
