§ The Report of the Committee appointed to inquire into the accusation of Forged Signatures being appended to an election petition from Carrickfergus, presented on November 15th, was presented: it stated, that fourteen out of thirty signatures were forgeries, and that Hutcheson Posnett and John Morison Eccleston, were privy to the forgery of these signatures.
