HC Deb 24 August 1831 vol 6 c585

Lord Althorp moved the third reading of the Duchess of Kent's Annuity Bill.

The Order of the Day having been read,

Lord Althorp

proposed an Amendment, providing, that in case of the death of the Princess Victoria, only 4,000l. of the 10,000l. should be applied to the purposes of the Duchess of Kent, and that the remaining 6,000l. should revert to the public.

The Amendment was inserted by way of rider, and the Bill read a third time, and passed.
