New Writs were ordered for the Borough of Knaresborough, in the room of Sir JAMES MACKINTOSH, now one of the Commissioners for the Affairs of India:- — For the City of Norwich, in the room of Mr. ROBERT GRANT, now Judge Advocate General:—For the Town of Nottingham, in the room of Mr. DENMAN, now Attorney General:—For the Borough of Helston, in the room of Sir SAMUEL PECHELL, now one of the Commissioners of the Admiralty:— For the County of York, in the room of the right hon. HENRY BROUGHAM, now Lord BROUGHAM, who had since his election, accepted the office. of Lord High Chancellor.

Returns ordered. On the Motion of Mr. GEORGE LAMB, the number of Felonies and Cases of Assault tried at the Sessions in the several counties of England during a limited period, with an Account of the Costs allowed on each Case, and the total Expense charged to each County: —On the Motion of Mr. ATTWOOD, the Sums subject to the claims of the Creditors of the Nabob of the Carnatic, invested in the name of the Commissioners of the Sinking Fund, in April 1850; and Duty Levied on Foreign Corn.
