§ Mr. Hume moved for leave to bring in a Bill to revive, 354 amend, and render perpetual the Act 5 Geo. 3rd, c. 45, to continue every person in office at the demise of the Sovereign, until removed or discharged therefrom by the succeeding King or Queen of this realm.
The Chancellor of the Exchequersuggested to the hon. Member the propriety of postponing the Motion, from motives of delicacy to which he need not more particularly allude. The Attorney General concurred in this recommendation.
