HC Deb 26 February 1830 vol 22 c1005
Lord F. L. Gower

presented a Petition from Bishops professing the Roman Catholic religion in Ireland, on the subject of Education in that country.

Mr. Rice

said, that if the usual items for Education appeared in the Irish Estimates this year he should bring the matter before the House, with a view to an inquiry into the subject.

Mr. D. W. Harvey

rose to renew the notice of his Motion, which was to have been made yesterday, respecting the Land Revenues of the Crown, for the 30th of March. He took this opportunity of observing, that the Revenues of the Crown Lands, in the Duchy of Lancaster, were not brought into any of the Public Accounts, and as it would greatly forward the object he had in view, he begged to ask the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster if he had any objection to furnish him with information on this subject.

Mr. Arbuthnot

said (as we understood him), that the Chancellor of the Duchy of Lancaster had nothing to do with the Crown Lands.
