§ Mr. John Williams moved for leave to bring in a bill "to render the Affirmations of Quakers admissible in Criminal Cases."
§ Mr. H. Gurneyhe believed he was warranted in stating, that the bill proposed to be brought in by the hon. and learned gentleman was by no means desired by the members of that body, who were perfectly satisfied with the law as it stood.
§ Leave was given to bring in the bill.
