The debate being resumed,

Mr. Wilmot

hoped, that the hon. gentleman would withdraw his amendment, for extending the commission to Trinidad. He had already pledged himself to produce papers; and was ready to give every facility to the full elucidation of the subject.

Mr. Hume

said, he had full confidence in the sincerity of the hon. gentleman, and would agree to withdraw his amendment.

The address was then agreed to.
