Mr. Canningrose to give two notices on behalf of lord Castle-reagh. During the last session certain papers relative to the state of the various prisons throughout the kingdom had been moved for in another place. It was now intended that the same papers should be laid before this House. His noble friend intended then to move that a committee be appointed to inquire into the state and discipline of the various prisons. The other notice referred to a commission which had been appointed to inquire into abuses in public charities. When the first report of that commission should be presented, it was the intention of his noble friend to move for leave to bring in a bill granting certain extensions be the powers and objects of that commission.
