moved, that a notice of his, on the subject of the copy-right of books, should be discharged; as he saw an hon. gentleman in his place, with whom the subject had originated, and in whose hands it would therefore better continue. Ordered.

Mr. D. Giddy

(the member alluded to) then gave notice, that, on Thursday, he should move for leave to bring in a Bill to regulate the copy-right of books, pursuant to the report of the committee last session.
