§ The House resolved into a committee of supply, to which a Petition of the trustees of the British Museum was referred; when 8,231l. 11s. 4d. was voted to the said trustees to carry on the works of the Museum, and a further sum of 1,000l. to enable them to purchase books to improve the collection of the Museum.
§ The House having resumed, the report was ordered to be received on Monday se'nnight.
§ The House then adjourned to Monday, the 18th instant.
