§ The Chancellor of the Exchequer presented the following Message from his majesty:
§ "G. R. His majesty, relying on the uniform zeal manifested by his faithful commons to provide for whatever exigencies the situation of affairs may require, 859 recommends to this house to enable him to take such measures as the circumstances of the extensive warfare in which his majesty is engaged may render necessary to counteract the plans of his majesty's enemies, and to provide for the safety of his dominions."—Ordered to be referred to the Committee of Supply.
