§ Lord Henry Pettyacquanted the house, that he had a message from his majesty to this house, and he presented the same to the house; and it was read by Mr. Speaker, as full wedi. viz. "G. R. His Majesty, relying on the experienced zeal and affection of ,his faithful commons, and considering that it may be of the utmost importance to provide for such emergencies as may arise, is desirous that this house will enable him to take all such measures as may be necessary to disappoint or defeat any enterprizes or designs of his enemies, and as the exigencies of a hairs may require. G. R." Ordered, that the said message be referred to the consideration of the committee of the whole house, to whom it is referred to consider further of the supply granted to his majesty.
