MR. M'GILLIGAN (Fermanagh, S.)I beg to ask the Chief Secretary to the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland, in view of the small number of Magistrates residing in County Fermanagh, the inconvenience resulting to suitors, and the small pro- 217 portion of Catholics on the local Bench (although Catholics constitute more than half the population), whether the Lord Chancellor of Ireland proposes soon to make further appointments to the Commission of the Peace for the County?
