SinclairI am happy to inform the House that, in recognition of the valuable services rendered by the Observer Corps over a number of years, His Majesty the King has been graciously pleased to approve that the corps shall henceforward be known by the style and description of "The Royal Observer Corps." I have recently had under re- 1550 view various questions relating to the status and conditions of service of the corps, and I have arranged to place in the Library, for the convenience of Members, a summary of conclusions on the main points of principle and detail, and of the action that has been taken or is in progress.
