Mr. EDEasked the Minister of Health whether, pending his decision on the proposal of the Surrey County Council to add part of the parish of Chessington to the urban district of Epsom, he will decline to sanction any arrangement whereby Chessington would be placed in the area of any water undertaker other than the urban district council of Epsom?
§ Mr. GREENWOODThe parish of Chessington is already wholly within the statutory limits of supply of the Metropolitan Water Board, and my sanction is not required to any arrangements for the supply of water in the parish by the Board.
