asked Mr. Attorney General, If Her Majesty's Government propose to introduce a Bill to consolidate the Merchandise Marks Act of 1862 with the Merchandise Marks Act (1862) Amendment Bill, so as to present in one and the same measure the whole of the existing law relating to merchandise marks, and the proposed amendments and additions thereto?

asked the Secretary to the Board of Trade, Whether Her Majesty's Government intend to introduce a Bill to consolidate the Merchandise Marks Act (1862) Amendment Bill with the Act of 1862?

Yes; I propose to take the necessary steps to consolidate the law on the subject as soon as possible consistently with the Forms of the House.
