HC Deb 03 February 1887 vol 310 cc544-5
SIR GEORGE CAMPBELL (Kirkcaldy, &c.)

asked the Secretary of State for War, Whether Her Majesty's Government propose to ask the House to sanction a Supplementary Estimate of £500,000 for expenses connected with the Army in Egypt; and, if so, when that Estimate will be presented; and, whether it will contain explanations so that it may be duly considered previously to a Vote being taken on it?

THE SECRETARY OF STATE (Mr. E. STANHOPE) (Lincolnshire, Horncastle)

The question of Supplementary Estimates is under the consideration of Her Majesty's Government. The amount cannot yet be determined. When presented every possible information will be given.
