asked the Under Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs, Whether a Treaty has been concluded between this Country and Corea; and, whether he will lay a Copy thereof upon the Table of this House?

A Treaty between this country and Corea was signed on the 6th of June last, the text of which only reached the Foreign Office last night. The Treaty, if ratified, will be published in due course. The substance of it was given in my reply to a Question in the House on the 13th ultimo by the hon. Member for South Durham (Sir Joseph Pease).
