Motion to refer the instrument to a Delegated Legislation Committee (DLC) not moved Notes
A step of type Business step.
In the case of prayers tabled in the Commons against instruments subject to the negative procedure or motions tabled against treaties, a motion may be made by a Minister to refer the motion to a delegated legislation committee.
Scope note: Usually occurs at the end of a debate considering several motions in one, the first will be decided while the others, where necessary, not moved
