§ Baroness Scotland of AsthalUser acceptance testing of National Firearms Licensing Management System began on 24 July. This testing has revealed two issues which need to be resolved before the National Firearms Licensing Management System can be rolled out to forces. Work is in hand on this and a revised roll-out schedule including conversion of records will be agreed with police forces as soon as possible.
