§ Mr. LeslieThe Secretary of State is satisfied with the arrangements for dialogue between the Judicial Studies Board and the Sentencing Guidelines Council. We have recognised the importance of the link between the Sentencing Guidelines Council and the Judicial Studies Board by ensuring that the Chair of the Judicial Studies Board's Criminal Committee is ex officio a member of the Sentencing Guidelines Council. In addition there is regular contact between officials of the Judicial Studies Board and the Sentencing Guidelines Council.
