§ Lord BachAs I stated in my Answer to the noble Lord's Question of 23 February 2004 (Official Report, col. WA 5), and in my response during the recent debate on defence policy, on current plans an announcement on selection of a preferred bidder for the Support Vehicle project will be made later in the spring. I regret that the date shown on the website of the Defence Procurement Agency, to which I believe the noble Lord is referring, is incorrect and has been amended.
